Ever since football started back, I’ve wanted to do a video that really caught the feelings of getting back on the field and this speech from the movie “We Are Marshall” was perfect.
Now I don’t think that football being delayed a few weeks equates to the tragedy that was the 1970 plane crash that the movie was based on, but the sentiment was still the same.
It’s not even about football. It’s about having an outlet for kids that live for Friday night. It’s about having some sense of structure for the kids that need it. And it’s also a place for kids to be a part of a team or brotherhood. That’s why it was so important for me that we still have football.
